JavaScript: Advanced Concepts

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

This course builds upon the Introduction to JavaScript course and covers the development of familiar JavaScript effects. The exercises deal with form validation, using event handlers, navigating to new web pages using a drop-down list, sliding or expandable menus, changing images and text simultaneously, the basic use of cookies, and more.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

• Use event handlers
• Open, manipulate and close new windows
• Access URLs from a list
• Validate user entered data
• Generate HTML dynamically

PREREQUISITES:

HTML: Introduction and Introduction to JavaScript, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of CSS is helpful.
